Want to know what is “so fetch?”  “Mean Girls” is coming to Broadway!  Yes, you heard us right—the iconic film starring Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams about high school cliques and queen bees is currently being workshopped for the musical theatre stage.  The movie's screenwriter, (and OG Mrs. Norbury) Tina Fey, is involved as book writer for the project along with director/choreographer Casey Nicholaw (SOMETHING ROTTEN, ALADDIN, TUCK EVERLASTING, ELF, SPAMALOT).  We’re excited for all of our favorite “Mean Girls” moments and one-liners (“You can’t sit with us!”) as well as the choreography that will enhance this popular story for live theatre audiences.  The out-of-town tryout begins on Halloween in Washington, D.C. and Broadway previews start up on March 12.  For tickets and more information, check out www.meangirlsonbroadway.com.
