The coming of a new year brings hope, joy and inspires dreams of our potential for the future. We welcome New Years Day as a celebration of both endings and beginnings; and love the idea of a fresh start! Here are a few things that we're looking forward to in the new year!
Setting new goals & working towards them
At the start of a new year, it's great to make a list of goals you have for the next. What do you want to achieve in the upcoming 12 months? Maybe you want to get straight A's or nail a quad pirouette? Maybe you want to shoot for something outside of your comfort zone, like making new friends or auditioning for a show? Your goals can be set for any aspect of your life. Whether you're focusing on dance, school or personal development, creating goals and starting to work towards them is a sure-fire way to start the year off on the right foot.
The Winter Olympics
As dancers, a lot of us have also dreamed about being figure skaters and smoothly gliding on that magical ice. We love everything about the beautiful art of figure skating; the costuming, the grace, the grit, the performance quality. The Winter Olympics only happen once every four years, and in 2018, we'll get to see our favorite figure skaters compete in Korea at the 23rd procession of the winter games! Competition Season
A new year means the coming of a new competition season for us enthralled in the dance world. By the time spring rolls around, we will be ready to showcase our hard work, talent, and of course, our best moves on the performance floor. The thrill of competition season is what many of us live for, and we're excited for yet another opportunity to shine!
New Styles and Trends
We're excited to see and explore new styles and trends in the upcoming year!
