From class to competition weekend, dancers come together far and wide throughout all walks of life.  You can read your best friend's face from across the room when the teacher is demonstrating that super tough adagio.  All dancers share some common ground that creates an electrifying connection, no matter the background. There's no stronger bond than the one that exists between dancers.

Here are some REASONS the dancer bond is the strongest bond!

1.) Dancers speak the same language. No matter the style of dance, each unique way of moving has a language that can be understood within our dance community.  Ballet, the most universal language of dance, can easily be translated by a group of dancers from all different countries in the same room.  That's pretty amazing!

2.) We celebrate each other's wins. While there is a competitive nature to our industry, there is nothing more inspiring than cheering on your team at competition, congratulating your friend on a contract or feeling supported when you land your first job as a professional dancer.

3.) Your dance best friends are your very best friends.  Sometimes we spend time with people who don't necessarily understand the crazy life of a dancer.  This is what makes our dance best friends our best friends of all time.  They are with you every step of the way and understand the trials the industry may throw at us from time to time.

4.) We keep it fashionable. Whether you're at comp and spot that Tri-Top or you're twinsies in your Arrow Uni with the red head beside you at an audition, one thing is for sure: JJ style creates an automatic forever bond with the dancers in your life!

5.) Dancers are go-getters and dream catchers.  As dancers, we understand that great success comes with great sacrifice.  Our willingness to step outside of our comfort zones to pursue our deepest desires is unlike any other profession. We're not afraid to go after our dreams, and this alone is what bonds us with others of our kind.

6.) There's always 6 degrees of separation.  The dance world is SO small.  If you meet a new dance friend for the first time, you may be surprised to find out you have a bunch of contacts in common.  That's the beauty of community!
